Wednesday’s game is ON, be there at 7pm.

Plan on showing up on time tonight as we are expecting return appearances from Maros, Rado, Will, Daniel, and Dan as well as all the usual folks who were there on Saturday. Stephanie will be suiting up in goal, any challengers? First come, first serve.

To celebrate National Hockey Day this past Saturday, Chris came down and played a splendid game in goal for the dark team (and then the white team when Stephanie requested more shots in the third period). We had the beginnings of a close game as Robert blasted a shot from the slot past Stephanie to start off the scoring for the dark team. However with a number of inexperienced (though energetic) players, and without Rado and Maros, the dark team was not at top form and the white team took the first period 2-1.

The rest of the game was not as close, even with a number of incredible saves by Chris, Bob and Tim scored a number of goals to lead the white team to victory (we stopped keeping score). When “last goal” was called, Hinako came through with a sneaky shot from the left slot (on a pass from Bob) to score and end the game.

Tim scored the only goal in the shootout, sneaking a late shot past Stephanie to win it for the white team.
