Leon Dubbs, PSHL All-Star

I’m also proud to announce that from now on I will have an alter ego. A hockey personality, if you will. It has become apparent to me that I have risen to elite status among PSHL goaltenders, far surpassing the abilities of our friends Goalie Chris, Stephanie “The Brick Wall”, and of course, our beloved Tominator. A goalie of my ability needs a new persona.
Leon Dubbs is the name, and don’t forget it. And now for a word from Leon. He has prepared a statement for the league:
“First of all I’d just like to thank my savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, for giving me the amazing, God-like puck stopping ability. Also, I will require further contract negotiations from the White/Black teams. Of course, when I say negotiations, I’m talking about gettin’ paid. I have a family to feed, and everyone knows that Leon can’t cook without that dough baby!”
Well, Leon certainly has his priorities straight, folks. Make sure you make him feel welcome in his PSHL debut. See you there!

Mikey’s… sorry… LEON’S Sense of humor (and
onomotopoeaic exaggeration) is a sure cure for all
types of depression.
So throw away yer Paxils, yer Zoloft, yer electroshock

Leon was awesome last night! he made some saves like he weren’t from this
planet. leon did what he could. unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. the dark
team’s disorganized defence (including me) is the one to blame for the
loss against the whites. the player of the game goes to Jason Spensley for
an outstanding play in the last few minutes that finished off the dark
team. two other stars of the night - as usual - were the goalies:
Stephanie and Leon.

After sleeping for nearly 12 hours, Leon has prepared this statement for the league.
“Yeah, this praise is most pleasing to Leon. While Leon did his best, Leon Dubbs is only one man. And while Leon did his best, there was an even better goalie out there tonight. On this night, Leon Dubbs was second to Stephanie.
Unfortunately, despite Leon’s amazing performance, he will be holding out for a contract negotiation. He will not be there on Saturday, and he won’t be there on Wednesday. And maybe…. MAYBE…. if you show the proper respect for Leon and give him the contract he deserves, he MIGHT be there next Saturday.
So take this time to think about what Leon Dubbs is worth to YOU.”
Well, that was Leon, everybody. As for my mild-mannered self, I won’t be here until next saturday either. I have writing class on wednesdays now, and there’s the violent femmes show on Saturday. So I’ll see ya’ll when I sees ya.
