This past Wednesday we had light issues again (as in they were not turned on). But luckily the soccer lights were on so we were able to play half-court on the “bright” side of the rink. It went surprisingly well with the only drawback of “1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8…. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8…. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8….” being ingrained into our heads as the band marched over and over and over again…

The white team got off to a strong 5-2 first period and kept going. Weston shut down the dark squad in the 2nd period to give the white team an 8-2 lead. The dark team mounted a strong comeback in the third period but the game ended at 10-7 before they could complete the comeback.

This was Erin’s last game as a regular. Best of luck in Phoenix Erin, and we look forward to seeing you when you make it down here to visit family and friends.
